1.4 User Debug Interfaces

The number and type of USB interfaces vary by version. Confirm the version of your robot before connecting peripherals. Overview of USB interfaces by version:

Version

USB Interfaces

X2 Ultra

4 in total: Type-A × 2, Type-C × 2

X2 Ultra(new version)

3 in total: all Type-C

X2 EDU

1 in total: Type-C × 1

Attention

USB interfaces are mounted on different computing units, and the connection point determines which unit recognizes the peripheral. When a secondary-development program runs on the developer computing unit (PC2, Orin NX), peripherals must be connected to the Orin NX side; if connected to the RK3588 side, the program cannot access the device.

1.4.3 X2 EDU

The X2 EDU is equipped with only one motion control computing unit (RK3588) and no developer computing unit, so it has no Orin NX side interfaces. It also does not support 5G and therefore has no SIM card slot.
